Privacy
Updated October 13, 2026
OmniKey does not collect, store on a server, share or sell any data about you. The app and the keyboard have no network access, no accounts, no analytics and no advertising.
What stays on your device
- Settings, snippets and learned words are stored in an App Group container shared by the app and the keyboard. They never leave the device.
- Clipboard history, if you turn it on, is stored the same way. The keyboard can only read the clipboard with Full Access, and you can clear the history at any time.
- What you type is processed on the device to insert text, suggest words and apply Vietnamese input. OmniKey does not log keystrokes and does not read text in secure fields; suggestions and autocorrect are disabled there.
- AI actions run on the device with Apple's on-device model. Your text is not sent to any server.
Full Access
Typing works fully without Full Access. iOS shows its standard warning about third-party keyboards when you turn it on. OmniKey asks for it only to read the clipboard (paste and clipboard history), play key sounds and use haptics. Full Access does not give OmniKey network access, so nothing can be sent anywhere.
Without Full Access, iOS may stop the keyboard from reading settings saved by the app. The keyboard then uses its defaults.
Purchases
OmniKey Pro is an in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. OmniKey receives only whether you own Pro; it never sees your payment details or Apple ID.
Children
OmniKey collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
